BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY

I LOVE CAPTURING A STORY AND A BIRTH STORY IS ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES. THE ANTICIPATION, THE NERVES, THE CALM BEFORE THE CRAZY, THE EXCITEMENT, ALL OF IT. THE BIRTH OF A BABY IS LITERALLY A MIRACLE AND I'M REMINDED OF THAT EVERY TIME I PHOTOGRAPH ONE. I'M OF THE OPINION THAT EACH ONE OF THOSE MIRACLE BIRTHS NEEDS TO BE DOCUMENTED.

I’m on call for your birth. I will arrive when you’re ready for me to arrive (typically when you’re getting pretty close) and I stay for an hour or so after the birth. It’s all played by ear as things happen.

I come to the hospital within 48 hours of baby being born and capture whatever is happening while I’m there. Just pictures of the baby, family pictures, baby getting it’s first bath, visitors, etc. Really anything.
